After nearly 20 years of freelance multidisciplinary design, brand strategy/development, and creative consulting services for entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes, Nick Heller decided it was time to pivot. He shuttered his small creative services agency (_inter: agency) – deleting the website, stopping payments to Google (for ads and email addresses), and quietly adding end dates to his CV and profiles – all with the hope of taking what was learned and passing it on to others through peer-to-peer support, advocacy, and guidance.

Founded in 2021, ABLE Concepts is a love letter to the creative and entrepreneurial community that guided and supported his career growth. With a focus on education and empowerment, Nick intends to grow ABLE to serve that same group of people – those courageous enough to strike out on their own, take chances on themselves, and do so by helping their peers and customers alike. The vision for ABLE is simple, but not easy: remove barriers and shorten the distances between each other and opportunities. Over the next few years, ABLE is set to introduce several new concepts – both B2B and B2C; both paid services and free community spaces.
